For each teacher, select the subjects they teach and which classes they teach them to. This is what the auto-generator reads to know who should be placed where — without it, generation can still place subjects into slots but can't assign a real teacher to them.
Lower-level classes (Playgroup–Grade 3) don't need this at all — generation automatically uses each class's own class teacher (set in Classes → Assign Teacher) for every subject, matching how these classes are actually staffed. Only map subjects here for Upper Primary and Junior Secondary classes, where different specialists genuinely teach different subjects.
Register every physical space your school actually has — labs, the hall, the library — once, here. This is also what the Classes module's room field and the shared-room mapping below both pull from, so a room typed one way in one place can never accidentally be treated as a different room somewhere else.
Most lessons just use each class's own home room (set in Classes → Edit), so there's nothing to configure for those — they can never clash since each class's own room is exclusive to them. Only set something here for subjects that use a shared space multiple classes compete for — a Science Lab, Computer Lab, or similar — so the generator knows to check for a clash there instead of assuming every class has its own room free.
Every class name actually used in students or timetable lessons should have its own real document in classDetails — not just be computed on the fly. This scans your real student and timetable data, finds any class name in genuine use that's missing a database record, and creates one, with the correct base-class/streams relationship written in directly.
Checks every lesson currently saved against one reliable signal: a real Excel import or manual entry almost always has a teacher attached, while the old per-class "Auto-Fill" tool always leaves the teacher blank by design. A lesson with no teacher at all is a genuine flag worth reviewing — it doesn't prove the entry is test data, but it's the strongest signal available without manually checking each one.
